How Fall Works

Four programs are offered — two introductory and two advanced. Rank all four in order of preference (mark programs you can't take as "Not Interested").
Introductory courses meet Saturdays. Advanced courses meet Sundays.

Final showcase and gala: Saturday, December 12th.

Application Deadlines

Early Decision: Apply by June 1 — notification by July 1
Regular Decision: Apply by July 1 — notification by August 1
Final Decision: Apply by August 15 — notification by September 1

Hands-on intro to cinematic storytelling — history, technique, and three short films.

Actor's Lab

Sep 19 – Dec 5 · 11am–6pm

Intro acting using SOCAPA's toolbox approach — scenes, technique, and short film performance.

Advanced · Sundays

Advanced Filmmaking I

Sep 20 – Dec 6 · 11am–6pm

Writing for Film & Television — feature outlines, TV treatments, and a proof-of-concept film.

Advanced Acting I

Sep 20 – Dec 6 · 11am–6pm

Audition Workshop — cold readings, self-tape, monologue prep, and mock auditions with industry feedback.
